Steve’s Blog » Hello, 2023-2025 In Colors!
Each year, to coincide with the release of their annual catalog, Stampin’ Up! introduces five new additions to their color collection. These new selections are called “In Colors” and are available in card stock, ink, markers, ribbons, embellishments, and Designer Series Paper. The catch is… they are only available for two years. Then all the items featuring those colors are retired. So that means we always have two sets going at once. And with each new catalog release, there is always a new set of colors introduced as well as a set retired. It’s a fun way to stay up to date with color trends, and to get to try new colors in your crafting.
2023 will be my third year as a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator and the third time I’ve created a series of cards highlighting the five new In Colors. It’s become such a fun tradition I anticipate doing every year, and I had a particularly fun time this year because I am in love with these new colors…
Aren’t they gorgeous?! The five colors don’t necessarily coordinate with each other all the time, and they really don’t need to. But this year, not only are they fantastic colors on their own, but the set is like the ultimate earth tone palette. I just know I’m going to be using them A LOT in my crafting the next two years.
Are you ready for the cards I made? Each one uses the corresponding card stock, designer series paper, ink, dots, and textured ribbon. Plus, they feature the new stamp/die set, Cheerful Daisies. All will be available beginning May 2, 2023.
So, what do you think? Do you like the collection of colors? Do you have a favorite? (Copper Clay and Boho Blue for yours truly here.) Let me know what you think in the comments. And make sure to visit my online store to get yours today.
I hope you like looking at the cards as much as I enjoyed making them. And as a challenge, why not pick three colors from your personal stash and make the same exact same card in each color. It’s a fun exercise, and when you’re done… hey, you have three new cards to share. Thanks for reading. Until next time, I hope your Spring is off to a nice start, and no matter what is going on don’t forget to keep on crafting. -Steve
