Kintsugi Cards

June's class will be a special one where you will use the newly released Kintsugi Inspirations suite to craft five cards that share the spirit of Kintsugi (金継ぎ), or "golden joinery." It's the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer and powdered gold, silver, or platinum, emphasizing imperfections rather than concealing them. It embodies the philosophy of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in flaws and impermanence. Beyond art, Kintsugi symbolizes resilience, showing that scars—whether in objects or life—can become something valuable.
